(1) 10" should round out a stock system nicely in an adequate enclosure. I personally wouldn't put more than 1 unless you're planning to upgrade your other speakers

Personally, I prefer sealed enclosures for the fuller/ more responsive range of sound without being boomy (ported or bandpass).
