Similar to how some LSU fans freak out about Flynn's spotted success.

Pretty much settles it. Saints have a Lombardi and those franchises have as many as the lions or browns or texans or bengals or titans or jags or chargers or bills or Vikings or eagles or cards or seahawks

Congrats on a division

And the saints can still win it all

There's a pretty big difference between hoping your former players do well and becoming a full on fan of the team they play for

I'll root for Flynn to do well, D-Bowe to do well, PP7 to do well, etc but I don't actively follow each of those teams and root for them.

If this was true, shouldn't there be a ton of Purdue Saints fans?

I think its a combination of Auburn fans not ever really having a team to root for plus a lot of Bama fans are Saints fans so they figured out another way to "pull against them"

A lot of insecure Saints fans on the MSB today.
Why not enjoy being in the playoffs instead of being butthurt about the Panthers being the NFC south champs and Manning being the GOAT?
