Just ate at the Hookup grill and bar on 8th st. an hour ago. Great oysters, nice view from back bay. Menu looked good. Build you own Bloody Mary bar and bottomless mimosas today.

32 is good and has a nice view. Stay away from the half shell, its the sort of place that tells you lump crab meat topped fish and brings out some run of the mill crabmeat crumbled on top (ie sheepshead). If you want oysters its fine, but much much better food out there. I recommend and I know Gaston always recommends taking the drive late afternoon on the coast all the way to Pass Christian. About a 25-30min drive and go to Old Cuevas or maybe even Hooks (not nearly as good as Old Cuevas), also many people forget Tom Wolfe has his place in the pass as well.... good food and that is a genuine dude too. Always loved eating out there, great view and food and he will come out and visit.
