Very true Texastiger. It's one of the mysteries of this season.

I think too much has been made of Iowa's running game. Yes the Hawks are a run first team, however they havn't really gashed anyone (in conference) except Purdue for a full game. Sometimes they get pretty lathered up and impose their will upon the opposition, other times its a few nice runs, an incomplete pass, a 3rd and long and punt. The passing game, while not great is adequate and scoring drives often come with 1 or 2 nice passing plays for 20+ yards - but usually when the running game is clicking.
I'd rather write this than read it from someone else
Iowa does not get as many 4 and 5 star guys as LSU. We all know that. But once the 3 star guys get into the program they grow in to pretty good ball players. Ferentz has often said "the best chance we have against them (more talented team) is on the field. Often more than 1/2 the schedule is against "more talented teams".
