Haven't really started to pinpoint an area yet. I just recently read about rural development loans today and there are some nice houses in prairieville. What's considered long term? I'm pretty sure I'll be here for at least 5-8 years. Where's your buddies house?

Long enough to consider purchasing IMO. But I would look at a 15 year note so you build equity more quickly.
