It sounds plausible that Texas is going to offer a 100 million dollar guaranteed contract that would promise Saban 90 million in exchange for not coaching if he retired after year one?

It is plausible so much that Pawwwwwwl and many of the bama fans on here were concerned that he was leaving before MB pulled his stunt.

If it was plausible before he was "forced" to accept the Alabama offer, when there was no opening at UT, then it is plausible that UT could approach NS with a number that would cause him to reconsider any commitments previously made.

It is not plausible that UT does not have the funds available to cause NS to reconsider his future. It is not plausible to think that someone that does reconsider their future may choose either of the options before them.

While it may not be probable at this point, only someone in denial would argue that it is not plausible for UT to make such and offer, NS to consider and possibly accept such an offer.

It is plausible to think that for political reasons Texas won't pay as much as it could for a coach.
