Somebody mentioned his name on the Recruiting Board, so I looked him up on lsusports.net, and I read his sisters comment under his Bio Page. Just curious

PANAMA CITY — Over pleas for mercy from the defendant’s mother, Circuit Court Judge Michael Overstreet sentenced Timothy Pope as a habitual felony offender to 10 years in prison Thursday.
Pope was convicted in November 2010 of grand theft and misdemeanor battery for beating a motel clerk and stealing a ring. Grand theft is a third-degree felony with a maximum sentence of five years, but Pope’s criminal history qualified him for habitual offender status, which allows the judge to double the maximum sentence.
