Absolutely.

I'd say most of the time I talk to my dad, the conversation is at least 50% Alabama football (or other sports to a lesser extent).

I have a twin brother and while he likes sports a lot and is a huge Bama fan, Bama football has always been my thing with our dad. My twin is more of a fisherman than me. And thats where they bond. We have had season tickets since Tide Pride started, so us three used to go to games all the time.

Last year in Miami was one of my favorite football memories. I attended the 2009 BCS game in Pasadena with a friend, but neither my dad or brother got to go.

Last year I took an extra semester, I got a student ticket, but I was gonna give it to my brother or dad. Luckily I found another student ticket and two tickets for my parents. I was way more excited about my brother and dad getting to go than myself getting to go.

We all were down in Miami. Tailgated together. It was the first championship game my dad had been to after all his years of being a Bama fan. I remember he came walking out of the stadium to our truck, where I had just finished popping a bottle of champagne, took a big swig of the champagne and gave me a big hug. It was awesome.

TL;DR - Yeah. Some of my best memories have been with my dad at Bama games.

Awesome story about your dad at his first champ game.

My dad died 7 weeks ago and I miss talking to him about the Saints and LSU. He never liked going to games but never missed one of my brother or my practices or games in sports. He loved watching us play.

Hope to pass the love into my boys.
