how much does one pay for a season ticket in a prime location of Iowa's stadium?

do you have to pay a tradition fund on top of your ticket price?

do you pay for parking? how much?

same question for RV parking?

do you have an "Neville Chamberlin" for an athletic director that likes nothing more than to give up a good OOC game at home to go to Dallas or Houston to play at the beginning of the season? i think the simple fact that Iowa fans don't get is that LSU started the season with what is pretty much a bowl game and already know that in September LSU will be in Houston to play another Big 1G team...

there is a certain amount of fatigue in the LSU fan base at this point and economic conditions aren't helping...

Good Lord.

I doubt Iowa folks pay as much as LSU fans simply because CFB likely isn't as popular up there as it is in the South. I don't love how much I have to pay for my season tickets, but it is evident that many LSU fans don't understand that college football, especially in the SEC is big business. LSU charges a premium for tickets, parking, TAF fees, etc because the fanbase will pay it. Once fans stop paying what LSU charges, prices will plateau. It's business. Why do you think Apple charges $500 for an iPad? Because idiots continue to line up overnight to get one.

As far as the neutral site OOC games are concerned, I, like you, as a season ticket holder absolutely hate them. The end result is I get to pay for 3 crappy OOC games in my season ticket package, and am forced to pay an additional premium for the one good OOC game (which I don't do). Nevertheless, a big part of the AD's job is to maximize the profit of his product. I doubt LSU would agree to the neutral-site OOC games if it wasn't lucrative for the athletic dept. Business-wise, I understand what the AD does.

In so far as LSU fans not being happy about playing a Big 10 in Tampa, there are a few solutions:

A. Don't travel to the game, and the next time the New Years Day bowl selection committees come around they'll let LSU fall to the Independence or Liberty Bowls because they won't be able to make money off of their appearance because the fans don't want to travel to the game.

B. The team could finish better than 5th in the SEC. The Sugar Bowl is not going to take LSU just because LSU fans don't think they're team should have to "lower" itself to play a top-4 Big 10 team
