I can think of one really good reason.
Expectations are much lower at Auburn. Win 8-9 games, and beat Bama at least half the time, job security for life.
At Texas you have to deal with all the egos which surround the program. Hell they might even be worse than us, which takes some doing.

Tuberville averaged 8.5 wins over 10 years, went 7-3 against bama, and still got canned. But by all means, keep spewing that company line bullshite that has been drilled into your updyke head.
