Why didn't you bitch about how much he makes last week when he was tearing the Panthers a new one?

People that bitch about the money he is paid have no clue. I bitch about the bad draft picks 
. You have to pay big for an elite QB. The staff got that one right. They just have to evaluate better for the draft. We can't continually miss on Offensive assetts when we are handicapped by the large salary hit an elite level QB brings.

Some QBs get paid for what they have already done ... Brady, Peyton, Brees, Rodgers, Roethlisberger, Eli, and now Flacco ... etc.
Others get paid based on expectations ... "Matty Ice", Romo, Bradford, Stafford, etc.
Brees is an Elite QB ... and, in my opinion, this is beyond dispute.
He should be compensated as such.
It shocks and sometimes angers people when a highly paid, elite QB ... has a particularly poor day. But ... it happens.
I would think that Mr. Benson would say that Brees has been worth every penny and then some.
