The slide guitar solo at the end is Keith's best playing

Yeah, it´s great. Keith´s pretty strange (in a good way). He´s penned the lion´s share of the music, has a grasp of how it need sound, but plays rhythm like Keith Moon played drums. Majestic, incomparable, impossible to carbon copy.

Yes, he can solo, but I don´t think he´s comfortable doing so.

ETA His sound is possibly the best there´s ever been. Really. There are A LOT of great players over the history, but he´s got that ´it´. It´s rock and roll, it´s hard charged, it´s lackadaisical, it´s incisive, it flows. He´s amazing.

He just seemed more interested in riffs.

That slide on Monkey Man though...some of my favorite seconds in all of music. It is simple and straight-forward yet so beautiful.

Goose bumps, and it doesn´t matter how old you are, how many times you´ve heard it, or what mental state you´re in. Some of my favorite seconds as well, absolutely no doubt. He did a great job on all of Let It Bleed.

If you enjoy the song Street Fighting Man, I saw this article today where Keith talks about creating this song and putting the sound in his head finally down on tape.

Good one, liquid. I guess I got too excited when someone knowingly replied, especially after that stupid arse inverted star shite.

I bitten by a boar
I was gouged and I was gored,
But I pulled through.
