Agreed, but not for reasons stated in OP.
1) This happens all the time, and has happened with Saban and just about every other CFB coach.
2) It will be a "statement" that the UT job is "better" than Bama.
3) It will be a "statement" that the UT fanbase is "better" than Bama's.
4) It will be a "statement" that football in Texas is "better" than football in Alabama.
5) It will also negatively effect LSU's recruiting in Texas (guess we'll need to give up more home games).
