I think Iowa still has a ways to go. While 1 play (NIU interception) kept them from being 9-3, I have seen what 9-3 looks like and the hawks are not there yet. To be more specific I'm talking about the offense. This offense is inconsistent.
When I watch Iowa football I am a lot more confident when the defense is on the field than when the offense is on the fied. Its a nail biter watching them try to win the game within the game. What I mean is its a nail biter watching them each play to see if they stay "on schedule" and avoid the 3rd and long and then to see if they can convert 3rd down and then the whole process starts over again.
