Of course he was already 55 years old when he retired
But i imagine favre must really have a passion for coaching these high school kids. You cant tell me favre wouldnt have a chance to get into the college ranks a bit or possibly even nfl

I doubt he wants to take on all the responsibilty of a college job. He has a pretty easy job now with no pressure. All he does is go to practice for a couple hours a day and a game on friday. He doesn't even ride the bus to away games. He drives his truck. I don't think he wants to spend all winter on the road recruiting. He said in an interview last week that the only problem with advancing in the playoffs was that it was cutting into deer season.
