Can you be more specific? What you want to do has a lot to do with where you need to go.
where to start!
I spent the last 3 years working on the Advisory side (mostly risk/control work) of a Big 4 accounting firm. I find myself totally disengaged with the day-to-day work and determined a long time ago that Accounting & Operations is not where I need to be and is totally unaligned with my personality and interests. I am considering a variety of different paths (some of them outside the business world).
But rather than turning this into my "quarter-life crisis" soapbox, let me simplify it by only listing options that might possibly be enhanced by going back to a masters program:
- Marketing/Ad/Creative Firms
- Healthcare Administration
- Healthcare Consulting
- Business Development
- Non-Profit Org or Consulting
- Entrepreneurship
I know that's all over the map and still vague, but I'm still in the beginning stages of trying to narrow down the possibilities and truly could see myself pursing one of the above options (in addition to several others not listed).
I need a restart button badly.

Good thing is with these, you can get into them from a variety of programs. UT has an pretty good Entrepreneur program. For health care it may be a good idea to look at programs away from LA and in places that have large health care centers.
If you want to really branch out id say go to a program outside of Louisiana.
