Thats the area I actually recommend that people stay when they come in. There are a few good eateries within walking distance and some nightlife across the causeway.

A word of caution. There is a crosswalk at the Causeway that claims the lives of a few people each year. Car/pedestrian accidents are very common in that area. Use a shuttle or a cab if possible.

Yes and south tampa is the place to go , mcdintons , Jackson's on Barbour island , yard of ale . Yo or has a lot of bars and clubs , it's the poor mans bourbon street . The beaches are close and the UA game is the day after the outback bowl . There is a lot to do and something for everyone . The airport is 5 minutes from the stadium also
