Cliffs? Does that mean we SHOULD be able to legally purchase the gun for his girlfriend as a gift? Sorry we are walking around and it's tough to read and understand all that at the moment.

They have the right to refuse service to anybody. I was trained to refuse the sale if I had any question that it might be a straw purchase. In the future just do not say it is a gift.
