Not even close, yet. Hester was a better technical runner, and he could put the team on his back. High intensity, high usage threshold, always "in the game", etc.

If Magee gets the senior treatment next year, he definitely has skills to be that type of player, but he's got a lot of work to do in the mindset department.

One skill that he as over Hester (and most RBs anywhere) is his receiving ability, especially from out wide. He looks like a full-time WR out there, and can take corners 1-on-1 on any type of route that a WR would run. IMO, this aspect of his game needs to be used more often.

T. Magee looks like a WR because that's actually the position he played last year. He switched after '11 I believe due to the logjam at RB, but he never saw action at WR that I remember. He moved back to RB with Ware & Ford leaving. I actually had him as my breakout offensive player before this season because I knew how much success Cam had with Ray Rice catching the ball.
