#1 seed always plays the lowest seed remaining. #2 seed would play either #3,4 or 5

The way I see it, #1 Seattle #2 Saints

#3 Detroit vs#6 Carolina
#4 Cowboys/Eagles vs #5 San Francisco

#1 Seattle vs #5 San Francisco
#2 Saints vs #3 Detroit

#2 Saints vs #5 San Francisco

One of the home wildcard teams will win. I just don't see the 49ers losing and Carolina could be vulnerable especially if they go 2-2 or worse down the stretch. Arizona could be the only team sneaking in if the 49ers/Panthers trip up.

The year before when Arizona was the #1 seed

Arizona was the 4. They played the game before the NFC Championship game on the road. The game where Jake Delhomme threw like 11 picks.

The only reason Arizona hosted the NFC Championship was because the Eagles upset the #1 Giants at home.
