Just never got drawn in. Knew from the start it was "out there". Yeah that's for sure. Drilled a bunch of oil, kills some guy that comes out of nowhere claiming to be a Brother, spend the other half the movie listening to children from the corn transplant, gets greedy and tells his deaf orphan son to go frick himself.

Kills Malachi with a bowling pin.

And that's it. Shitty movie. Sorry

This is my problem with people like you. You think that if you don't like a movie, it sucks. I had a feeling when you started the previous thread that you had shallow taste and wouldn't appreciate the subtleties of the movie that make it great. If you can't find appreciation for character development/interaction and great dialogue, then yeah the movie isn't for you. But don't act like because you didn't like it, it's garbage.

This movie was a downward spiral, through the eyes of the villain. I really did enjoy this movie and I'm looking forward to the book.
