Guys, requiring winning your conference is not a possibility. It never was, and it shouldn't be. Move on.

but it should be...
for a 4 team playoff, the only sure way in will be to go undefeated and win a big time conference. if you lose 1 at any time, you stand a chance to be passed over
if you don't win a conference, that means you lost a game somewhere down the line
