As of the end of the game Friday, LSU will have played twelve home games vs. SEC opponents in the past three seasons, four of which had night time kickoffs.

FIFY.

Admittedly, 2011 skews all of this, but the point is somewhat well taken.

ESPN has a Turkey Day game slot to fill--A&M is more than happy to fill it: DONE (a year ahead of time).

ESPN has two Saturday night slots to fill a week--LSU is more than happy to fill either: DISAPPROVE.

Sure CBS will always have the priority, but we are coming out short due to our specific preference for night games and our current success and marketability.

The advent of the SEC Network makes this worse, since it means that the PPV-level games now will have to spread out across the day to fill the three timeslots for that network. I'm willing to bet that somewhere along the line, LSU will have to play a rent-a-win in the morning timeslot. Which will cause a real meltdown around here.
