quit trollin, I've been to seattle multiple times because I have family who work there, I spent a summer there doing research as well 3 years ago.

There must be something wrong with you if you think the summers in Seattle are depressing. The weather is usually perfect, there are a ridiculous number of outdoor activities, and this is a beautiful city on a clear day (probably the most picturesque of all the large American cities).
