There were also a lot of missed plays by A&M. Dropped balls, missing wide open guys, etc. way more than the norm from what I remember watching anyway.

Not trying to take anything away from what the defense did, because I think they played their best game by far, but had A&M made a few plays they should have, I think it would have been more of a "norm" game for us this year. I think them missing some of those key opportunities put them in a hole they couldn't get out of. Just my take, I still think they looked improved overall.

I didn't think they dropped that many (only 1 I recall is Evans on the slant in the 1st qtr; others?). Regarding the rest don't you think our pressure, coverage, etc had something to do with it?

You don't have to sack the QB or int the ball, just offset the timing to be effective in pass D. I thought all-in-all we did great. Just bamboozled why it took so long and how we improved so much at one time. Our D was incredible for 4 qtrs Sat.
