Armalite AR-10A4 20"
Armalite AR-10T 20"
Smith and Wesson M&P10
Remington 700 5R SS 24"
Remington 700 LTR 20"
Remington 700 Police 26"
Having a hard time deciding. All suggestions are welcome.

I want something accurate and reliable. I like the idea of getting an AR-10 but am having a hard time justifying paying $600 more for a good semi auto .308. If its worth it, I'll do it.

Of those I'm goin police 26.
FNAR is another cool one to look at considering you have some semi autos on there

Yeah I definitely like the police 26" just wondering how well the 1:12 twist will push heavier bullets compared to a 1:11.25 or a 1:10.

I had a Remington 700 sps with the 20 inch bull barrel and a McMillan stock. Was way more accurate than I was!! Tack-driver. When everyone went crazy last year I sold it for 2 Gs...sucker.

Go ahead and drop $1,700 on the m&p10. It's an easy win. Semi auto, looks awesome, ambi controls, reliable, shoots under 1" groups at 100 yards. What more could you ask for except for it to cost less?

I am definitely interested in the AR platform .308 kinda wish the m&p10 came with solid stock like the armalite

Out of the bolt guns, Id get the 5R. They make a 20" version as well. 5R has a stainless barrel with 5R rifling.

M&p10 has 5r rifling too...

What are you using this gun for?

Nothing from Browning or Winchester on the list?

Target and hogs. I used my Arsenal AK when I went hog hunting in October and it worksd well but I hate the sights on an AK .... looking for something accurate out to 300-500 yards that I can add a good optic to. I'd prefer something and I can easily attach a bipod to.

Cool. Just saying the 5R is the best of that group.
I wouldnt buy a M&P10 though, Id get a dpms lite hunter, but thats the style of shooting I like.

Yeah I'd still go with the m&p10. I owned the m&p in 300 blackout and it was a good gun. I was just reading on the m&p10 today and they shoot sub moa. And if a big pack of hogs walks out you can shoot multiple times faster than a bolt gun.

any not named remington. dont buy junk

Do you think the m&p10 is better than an armalite ar10?
Out of all of the ones I listed I'm most attracted to the remington 5r milspec and the armalite ar10t.

Keep shooting and stop reading. Most shooters cant even shoot MOA, sure they will claim it and can do it once every so often but those are flukes.

My advice is to shoot more, talk less.
