What I don't understand: roughing the passer has been a rule for a while, and we see roughing the passer called for much less. I literally only panic for a second after the play because I knew it was going to draw a flag.

I understand hating the rules. If you tap the QB's helmet, it's a foul.

If your hand snags the facemask just a little bit, then it's a foul.

So I can't understand that people view the play and say that it's a terrible call. You either don't want to see what happened, or you saw it, and didn't like the rule, and decided to cross your arms in defiance.

If you're the back judge, and you see that play, how do you not throw the flag and expect to keep your job?

You mean the Referee. The Back Judge has no chance to see that play.

Thats because they haven't seen it broke down like the Zapruter film like we have...frame by frame by frame.

It looked like a legal hit at the very begining and slid into a illegal hit at the end. JMO. They never show the end results when they show it on TV or talk about it on the radio.
