Poor defense and poor free throw shooting is going to kill this team when the competition (top of the SEC and beyond) gets better.
Also, I can't understand why we do not dish the ball to the second guy on multiple 2 on 1 fast breaks the other night. Each time we came away with no points on those fast breaks.
Looks like we have a recruiter and motivator as a coach but not a X and O coach. I understand that recruiting is 80% of college coaching but it sure would be nice to have X and O's to go with the recruiting. Then again, Johnny did learn his coaching style from Daddy Dale.

Not sure about most of this.
FT shooting is poor.
Defense isn't necessarily poor. In fact using some advanced metrics LSU has a top 50 defense. We have played two offensively productive squads. Don't believe it's defense.
I'm very comfortable with Jones' X's and O's.
I do agree that on fast breaks they have missed passes that would have created easier shots.
