Question for everyone regarding Monty

First off, I realize there are a bunch of threads regarding Monty and I'm sure starting another one will piss some of you off. But this is a question that I felt deserved its own thread.
Question: Who here wants us to fire Monty right now (or soon) even if we don't get Karl or whichever coach you want us to hire in his place?
I'm asking because unless we can get Karl, (which we probably won't), this team will probably be way worse off then they are right now. I'm off the Monty bandwagon. But if we fire him now and are unable to hire an adequate replacement, then all we'd do is piss off our players and make them resent management. In other words, I don't want another Byron Scott out, Bower in situation.

Firing him now is a bit of an overreaction if you dont have Karl lined up, ready to go.
The team has underperformed and Monty deserves all the criticism he is getting. His schemes have been woefully inadequate or very, very poorly taught. His ideas on offense and defense seem to be the exact opposite of what any good coach wants.
Yet, they've played 9 games. This isnt a veteran team with a proven record tuning a coach out. No matter the coach, this team, like all young teams (yes, even like the young Thunder a few years back), will be inconsistent as they learn. There is still time to have a successful season- playoffs were never guaranteed despite what the preseason record was.
The message needs to be “your systems suck. Change them or you will not coach here much longer."

On the flipside, if you figure out early that Monty isn't the guy and can him, you get a head start on all the other teams who will be firing their coach. Karl has already said how much he likes the construction of our roster. Call his agent, gauge his interest and go from there

Unless there is a Karl type lined up and ready to go I don't want Monty fired. I'm not sure an interim coach wouldn't just make things worse.
