Miles has earned about 3 seasons of under achieving before the massive Jeaux Bleaux negotiated pay raise and contract extension buyout will be manageable enough for all those that financially contributed to the cause, will be able to see their contributions put forth and used for the specific purpose for which they were intended." Once again, I'll state that private behind the scenes procurement of buyout funds has aleady been initiated. A little here and a lot there. A lot here and a little there will eventually add up to the Paradise Financial Stroke. "We got the money now, so thank you BOTH for you're time. Now pack it up and move it on outta Baton Rouge." BTW, I personally don't think all those that comprise the LSU Nation will put up with three more seasons of mediocrity and minimally not even winning the S.E.C. West. Something will geaux down before that.

So you basically you want to pay miles to not coach here, then pay some one around the same amount you were paying him? That's a great idea.

They'll lose. Miles is a mediocre coach. Anyone who doesn't know that already is kidding themselves.

Bcs nc game against bama was the biggest game in lsu history , it would have bn first time ever lsu would win 13 games in a season.

JT, not being a part of the grammar patrol, but LSU won 13 games that year and it would have been 14-0 had they not laid an egg in the BCSNC game.

We already know all we need to know about miles. Overall he's an above average coach who recruits well but is a less than average game manager, his teams are consistantly talented but undisciplined and his best years are behind him.

Is this the biggest game of miles' career!!!!????

The last game was supposed to be a make or break it game (at least according to LSUpimp). But we lost that one - so now this it the make or break game.

I agree with Dudebro2.

Les is not in danger of losing his job. HOWEVER, Les needs to show some passion when on the field (unlike Ole Miss game), or the faithful will be far less faithful IMO...

According to some on here, as long as we win 7-8 games a year, Les should be able to stay. "Remember the 90's"

No one coming in here, other than a chosen few, would command the kind of salary CLM gets. He didn't start at 4 plus million. He had some extensions added if memory serves...

"We are going to find out a lot about Les Miles next Saturday vs A&M"

I do not agree with the OP. I think LM will approach this game the same as he has approached the game since he has been here. Sometimes the outcomes are different depending on execution on both sides of the ball but the approach will be the same, nothing new here for A&M

When are we going to find out a lot about the players on this team? Anybody interested in "finding out a lot about" this offensive line, the linebackers, the secondary, the punter, or anybody else on this team that have been a HUGE disappointment? All these highly recruited kids who talk the talk but don't walk the walk. And don't blame it all on Miles not "coaching them up", what we saw from the O-line last Saturday isn't about coaching, it's about pride from within and no matter who is on the sidelines, you can't coach that.

I agree. Run up and down the damn field and show out for the recruits. It's still an important game for perception/pride/bowl position. I got sick of the "lsu passed the torch to aTm" bullshite last yr. I friggin hate aTm and Johnny football. Even though our "season is over", we shouldn't mail it in. Work hard and get better. Grow a pair and play ball. Defend Death Valley.
