How many great teams have been blown out this many times upon being assembled?

Tonight sucked. I'm totally underwhelmed by the above the rim play. Without a legit post presence, centers can just contest these guards at the rim all game. Guards should have someone to kick to for an inside play when the centers collapse on them.

This team lacks diversified talent. EG and reke are totally undersized for what we want them to do. Reke is best at PG where he can overpower his defenders. We essentially have 3 players that play PG best making 37 mill per year.

AD is the only super physically talented player at his position. Jrue is good enough to be the 3rd scorer.

AD needs to develop and we need another big 3 or 5 superstar alongside him to become a great team. The pelicans have no post presence on offense.

Without another great talent, we'd need a popavich like coach and I don't see that happening.

I thought jrue/gordon/reke were too similar from the start, but it's worse than I thought. They can't succeed together. They're 3 point guards.
