No it isn't. 8 wins and what, 3 losses? That's 72%. 10-3 is just under 77%, and Miles averages 10 1/2 wins a season (although that may drop as low as 10 1/3 if he doesn't win another game in 2013) - which is right at 80%.

Regardless, 10-wins no longer has the prestige it once had. It's still admirable, however.

Let's try to use our brains. 13 wins (1 season), 12 wins (1 season), 11 wins (3 times) - that level of winning has never...been...done at LSU.

What does this really have to do with anything going forward? Les is floundering; I hope he can right the ship.

Stay for another long tough SEC season with an untried QB, rebuilding offense, suspect defense?

So you can tell the future Gump? Why don't you carry your arse to the Gump board and go blow cocks over there

No coach finished at LSU, more than 2 seasons, with a better winning percentage than Miles. So every coach floundered the whole time? Except Dietzel in '58 and Saban in '03?

He was "floundering" after 2008 and 2009, don't you agree? Then he gets 13 wins in 2011 - that was his best season and it was 2 years ago.

Chavis' past performance (not reflected in 2013) suggests he will field a better product in 2014. Cameron (assuming he stays) will have had another full year in the system.

We will have a new quarterback and unproven receivers. We will have a freshman running back. However, the team, as a whole, will be more experienced in 2014 than 2013, particularly on defense.
