we are really thin at safety. He isn't the first "washed up" guy who lands on a team and makees a huge impact. The risk is low, the reward is high. It is a position of need

If the Saints are expecting them to be out for longer than the next game I could see bringing someone in.
But till then I'll pass on a former great player cut be a crappy team because he can't break the starting lineup.
