re: What is your view on the new LHSAA playoff system?

I have all the respect in the world for a school like Mt. Hermon who at 0-10 would have been in the 2A non-select playoffs. They turned down the playoff birth. I agree that his system will not last long, possibly not after this year. If it does I fully believe the select schools will take their money and run, creating their own association. I also think they will invite any public school interested to join them. This would be the beginning of the end of the LHSAA. Without the money from the select schools the association could not function.
