I seriously doubt he falls in this category. Those are mostly guys who come from uneducated poor backgrounds that have 0 money management skills that have 6 kids for 6 baby mommas.

He wasnt claimed on waivers, he signed as a FA


I don't think this is correct. He is guaranteed 6.5 mil this year for being on the active roster with Oakland in week 1.

If he signs a contract with Green Bay, the money paid to him by Green Bay will be subtracted from the 6.5 mil that Oakland owes him this season. Usually these players that are signed during the season sign vet minimum contracts which for Flynn would be around $700k.
