Looking forward to next year, will we improve?

We lose:
Mett
Beckham
Landry
Hill
Lael
Blue
Copeland
Wright
Boone
Loston
Barrow
Tahj Jones
Defensively, we really don't lose that much. I don't see how Freak or Ego would get drafted anywhere high at this point. Barrow and Loston have been disappointments this year. Robinson and White will only get better.
I really don't see how the defense won't be better next year. These young guys will come around eventually and figure it out.
Offensively, we obviously have huge holes to fill. Hopefully we can land Fournette and that will replace Hill (not saying he'll be as good as Hill but he can be a starter). If Jennings is as good as we've heard and Cam Cameron can do to him what he did to Mett, we could be in good shape at the QB position as well, especially since his speed can bring some versatility to the offense.
Now the toughest holes to fill will be Beckham and Landry with their playmaking ability, especially that connection they and Mett have together. We are gonna need some young guys to really step up next year at receiver.
Looking at our schedule next year, I think we'll have a better record. Wisconsin isn't what they were a few years ago, we get Bama at home, and A&M could be JFF-less.
Obviously this is way too earlier to have any clue what's going to happen next year, but with all the melting down going on here I'm just pointing our that #thedecline isn't real.

I wouldn't sleep on Wisconsin.

Defense will be about the same, offense will be much worse.
6-6 next year is NOT out of the question.

I'm not sleeping on them, the just aren't as good as they were when they were making BCS bowls under Bieleima
Certainly a tougher opening opponent than TCU though

Defense better
Offense worse but could come on by end of season
should be an interesting/exciting yr. dont sleep on jennings and guys like dupre and noil could make immediate impacts at WR (think odell in 2011)

You think I'm being too optimistic?

Losing 3-4 that hurts is much better than 12(last year)
Alabama loses ton too, they had 10-12 already graduated, not to mention underclassman declaring.

LSU is toast son. Back to the early 90s of basketball and baseball.

You know what Memphis tiger you don't even believe that stupid shite. I'm willing to bet whatever you are that LSU will be better than that.

Possible, it has happened before. In the same year, with a much better LSU team.
Besides, if we win both of those, we still could go 2-6 in SEC play, 6-6 overall. Though in that case, it would probably 5-7 with loss to Wisconsin.

I believe LSU should be much better than that, but not convinced we will be.
But, I also think we finish this year 7-5

Auburn on the road is gonna be tough. We should beat Ole Miss but we should have this year too
Bama will be Bama, but having them at home helps
If JFF goes to the draft, we will better than A&M. Kentucky sucks. Arky sucks
Much like this year, could be an 8-4 team, could be a 10-2 or even 11-1 team IMO

Wouldn't shock me if Arkansas gives LSU a hard time this year.
This team is notorious on giving up on the rest of the season after losing to BAMA.
