“The script is probably available online, it leaked,” he said. “But it's very meta, I mean the character knows he's in a movie, he knows he's in a comic book. He names studio executives in the script. So, it's kind of a risky property. But, you know, we'll see.”

I get what you are all saying, but they are making money. Where movies with very cool superheros are also being made and tanking for one reason or another.

Green Lantern is a great comic, but this movie was considered a bomb. Granted, it was poor execution, but aren't you arguing that the Wolverine movies were poorly executed, as well?

Fantastic 4, somewhat well known and done horribly. I don't think anyone is clamoring for any more of these.

you're onto something...

Green Hornet, pretty entertaining actually. But didn't do nearly as well as Wolverine because it's not very well known.

nevermind.

Michael B. Jordan is Johnny Storm. I'm praying this movie doesn't get made.

Link to ComicVine Confirming Leak of Deadpool Script Plus a Review of the Script

I refuse to read the script, but some details are included; namely that Deadpool will have Collosus as a straight man.

There was another article saying that the Deadpool movie could be a jumping point for an X-Force movie or vice versa. All I know is that if Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool, it has a hard-R rating, it's written by the guys who did Zombieland, and has a director who is as passionate about the material as Tim Miller, I think I'd go see it. Just saying.
