So don't buy a Carvin is what you're saying...despite this looking like a hot arse amp and at a price that would allow me to buy a cabinet.

I guess I should just buy the JVM. The good thing is I see used ones going for quite a bit of money. At least you can get something back out of it if you decide to get something else.

And you left Line 6 off of your list.

So I'm a little nervous. I just made my first ebay purchase for a Mesa Boogie Mark V head. I'll probably get a 4x12 cab later. I'll use my Valveking 412 cab for now.

Great deal at $1600.00 for gently used 15-20 hrs in a home studio 5 months old. All original packaging. It was a new listing...so hopefully I was just really lucky. I figure if I don't like it, then I can just put it back on ebay and probably get more money out of it.
