Every pitchers wants/needs a savvy catcher. But MOAR importantly, a catcher who can keep runners out of scoring position. They would rather worry about throwing than being responsible for holding a runner a first.
ETA: my phone autocorrected to "MOAR". I didn't mean to type it. IT KNOWS THE SEASON IS NEAR!!!
