I feel like this one is a hard book to put on the big screen. Two movies would have been ideal but I am sure this movie was a bit of a risk.

Sometimes you have to remember the purpose of this type of movie. You are often condensing the story while bringing to life the core of the book.

I don't think Ender's Game on the big screen could really be broken up into multiple movies. However, they could have probably added an extra 30 min or so to further reinforce the character study that the book lays out. A mini series may have been better than a movie as it could really dive into his range of emotions, the character development, and include some of the subplots.

Nevertheless, I thought this movie did a great job at hitting the high points of the book, and brought the page to life in such a way that could not have been done 28 years ago.
