I got watch the 1982 live in Legion Field and I can tell you it was great to watch an LSU team step up and play like a real football team. I was in T_Town when LSU shut Alabama out at 26-0 and it was great to watch their stands clear out when the fourth quater starter.
That being said, I would really enjoy watching LSU win another big game but I hate say that I do not see this team or coaches having the ability to step up and win a big one.
This team on offense is to much confined to 4 players and nobody on defense. Ole Miss proved that covering Beckham & Landry in the passing game is all you have to do. Mett does not look to anyone else and even Furman figured that much. In the running game, just follow the fullback to where LSU is going. That is a great way to run the offense. You might can be someone like Furman doing that, but forget it against Alabama.
If someone making 4 million dollars a year doesn't start coaching pretty soon, he will find himself with 5 losses for the first time in his career at LSU!!!
