Maybe someone else can chime in on this, but what really concerns me is the barrel plug. You have to admit that whenever you carry a gun without completely covering the trigger guard, your chances for a negligent discharge increase. My question is, what would actually be worse: getting shot in the leg, or a steel-framed gun exploding while it is pressed against your leg?

I'm not sure if the barrel gets plugged enough to create a gas seal.
But in any event, I think I would prefer the gun contain some of the blast. Taking a 230gr hollow point in the thigh is pretty life threatening.
