For $4 million a year average since 2008, you'd expect more from your coach. LSU in its last 1.5 seasons is 16-5 including an embarrassing loss to a depleted Ole Miss team.
Clamoring about his record and counting his outlier year to boost it up is as bad as people blaming lack of talent on LSU for our defensive woes when an Ole Miss defense down 6 starters and 4 DEs shut down LSU's supposed great offense.

Well, it's objectively true that we lost a lot on defense. Do you think that Chavis somehow lost his ability to coach a defense, or do you think that maybe the easier answer is that we are pretty young there now?
