Chavis cost us this game plain and simple.

You know I might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but that wasn't Chavis throwing 3 picks 2 of which should have been TD's. I am willing to bet he hasn't missed a tackle since he was playing in college at Tennessee. Ya'll can throw Chief and Les under the bus if you want. Yes coaching mistakes were made, but none that cost LSU the win. This game wasn't coached any differently. The reason LSU lost is that the players were flat and overlooked Ole Miss. Now that is plan and simple you could see it in their body language early on in the game.

There is some truth in there for sure, but when the team isn't on it's game, they need their coach to give them the best edge possible. That didn't happen... Players and coaches shared the loss, but the way the ending played out with the time being wasted was just frustrating coming from a person who should know better. So people are gonna vent...it's natural.

chavis scheme cost us on 3rd down and those are all his players on the field. when the dust settles all these players that make mistakes were recruited by les and chavis. Chavis hasn't adjusted his scheme well at all and his d let us down at the end but it came down to our head coach stealing the last chance of victory away from our guys because he can't manage a clock.

yes mett threw 3 picks, yes our oline which is coached by miles pet buddy sucked it up all game, yes obj didn't fight for the ball on the ints, yes our running backs played bad. all of that happened and yet we were still in it at the end. we were not prepared to play and we still had a shot until 29 seconds left when our coach went brain dead and cost us the last shot. I see lots of problems and they all need to be fixed but the fact that our last chance of victory is crushed by our own coach not being able to manage a game correctly is just down right unacceptable. Hell we could have called the timeout when we should have had ole miss make the fg and then obj return it to where ever and mett throw a pick. that would have been better than watching les not have a clue as to how to manage the end of the game. Why would that be better? because at least then our coach wouldn't have put out our last hope of winning, at least it would have been mett that put it out.
