That's it. How many hours the NCAA allows. To hell with injuries.
These guys can't tackle!!! Never seen anything like it. His practices are to soft.

As long as Mett throws to the other team, it won't help.

Won't happen. Miles is too nice. Probably will be Canes and lemonade to make them feel better.

Mettenberger lost the game. It's unrealistic to expect to shut out Ole Miss for a half with their offense. The defense played modestly, Mettenberger did not.

To me at the D1 level it's not about not knowing "how to tackle". No player at this level is afraid to hit, and they have all been taught the proper technique for form tackling. The problem lies in being able to put yourself in position to make a form tackle. If your team is trying to arm tackle all night. It's not because they don't know how to tackle, it's because they are never in the right position to make the tackle. They are either taking bad angles to the ball or havent been put in the right place on the field by their coaches.

Brilliant idea for a team that has played 9 straight weeks...I wish you were the coach.

I wish I was the coach too.
Jeremy hill would've got more playing time last night at least.
Come one down fournette

When you're standing flat-footed awaiting the next move of a RB or receiver running full speed at you, there is no way to "win the battle"....good tackling or not. You automatically give up 5+ yards on running plays, and allow receivers to run their routes with optimal timing.
There is only one way to fix this - aggressive, attacking defense.....it ain't just 3rd and Chavis, it's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and Chavis. The "bend but don't break" approach is a self-fulfilling prophesy. Eventually, the defense wears down from being on the field so much. Better to attack, create more turnover/sack opportunities versus allowing the opposition to "bring it to you" and control the tempo of the game.
