Well, I'd imagine LSU's strategy to run the ball as much as they did despite the fact UF was willing to go man 2 man in the secondary had nothing to do with it at all.
LSU was making a statement in that game and I think they wanted their OL to prove itself as a run blocking line. They've already proven to be extremely good at pass protection, but had been very up and down in run blocking all season.
I think Miles and company wanted to take the opportunity to see what they could do against a tough front, thus mitigating a high scoring game.
