they never were free. your mommy and daddy paid for them via the "student activity" fee.
i know you are older now and you are not naive. and of course it's money. the arms race requires it to be a top program. sad but true.

Do you recall how much? I know my tuition in 74 was $160!

How many of you remember when the Student Section STARTED on the west side and went into most of the NEZ. Seems like the band sat totally in the NE side.
