Yeah. Take the E line (it's 5 blocks north of you on 53rd) to Penn and go from there.

Im flying up from Nola on Jet Blue on Halloween. I will taking the train from Port Washington to Met Life so I def will be drinking on the train.

go to grand central, take the jersey train to secaucus, then take the game day train to the stadium.

not only is it every man for himself. At the big train stations/terminals. You don't even know which train you are getting on until ten minutes before it is set to leave.
They have tons of doors with numbers, and you wait and wait. Then 10-15 minutes before your train is set to depart, you will hear an announcement telling you which track it is on. Then you scramble to get the the door that leads to that track.
Strange process, but it stops people from crowding on the loading area.

It's part of the fun. That is why I don't mind catching the train to seacaucus in Hoboken. Much less of a shite show

I agree with everyone telling you to take the train. Just get off at Secaucus junction, then take the train to the Meadowlands. Drops you off right outside the main stadium entrance, couldn't be any easier. FYI, you can drink beer on NJ transit trains.

From Penn Station NJ Transit to Secaucus then train to Giants Stadium.
