The husband and wife are both real estate agents. They got into flipping after the market crashed. Ive seen the show a few times and they generally make 30-50k. Some episodes they end up not selling the house by the end of the show but they don't say if they lost money.
The husband always under prices how much it will cost for renovations. They usually blow way past the budget. You can tell he hasn't done much manual labor because he talks about him figuring out how to help out during other episodes. He doesn't know a lot about fixing up things.
They only use the investor for the first few episodes. after that, they don't need him to invest because they end up making enough to go out on their own.
