Believe me when i say this, 2 years ago I would have agreed to every word you wrote. But now I have a 2 year old. When we go to our first game I want him to see Mike, see pre game for himself, and be able to do the cheers with the band.

I was one who stormed the field against AU in 2001. Instead of trying to take the goalposts down my first instinct was to run to the goal line in the south east corner so i could flip off every AU fan where they all could see me. I witnessed the 8' tiger tail being burned to the ground on that hideous AU van that same night.

When UGA came in 2003 I thought it was hilarious when a UGa fan went into the port a John and an LSU guy tipped it over.

A random a$$, or $hit after a bad play by a drunk doesn't bother me. But at the same time perspectives on what you put yourself around change when you are responsible for someone other than yourself (for responsible parents). As a parent different things are important to me than a college kid. i have to do a lot more than get through the next test, get the next case of beer, and get the next piece of tail. I understand the differences completely.

So when he's old enough to stay the entire game we'll go see LSU play a blowoff game when the students will be gone by the second quarter. It sucks that it is that way but I don't want to have to explain to a 2 or 3 year old what STTDB means. For some reason that one rubs me the wrong way.
